Bisabolol is naturally present in Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla or Matricaria recutita), as well as the bark of the Candeia (Vanillosmopsis erythropappa) tree of Brazil. It is an anti-irritant, skin protectant and helps reduce UV-induced erythema (sunburn).

Calophyllum Tacamahaca Seed Oil (Tamanu) is a natural nut oil that is extracted from the nut kernels of the Tamanu Tree. Due to its many uses with wide-ranging benefits we use it in our soothing/booty balm and Diaper Rash Cream.

Caprylyl Caprylate/Caprate is a light emollient that is specially designed for sensitive skin applications.
Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil (Safflower) acts as a lubricant on the skin surface, which gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance. It is also used as a skin conditioning agent.
Cetearyl Alcohol stabilizes products and stops them from separating and curdling. It is also used to soften skin, and as a foam booster.
Cetearyl Olivate is composed of cetearyl alcohol and fatty acids derived from olive oil. It reduces skin water loss, has a high moisturizing effect, is hypoallergenic, and biomimics the skin.
Cetrimonium Chloride is an ingredient that carries a positive charge that attracts it to the slightly negatively charged skin and hair proteins, making it a great antistatic. Cetrimonium chloride is also used as a preservative.
Cetyl Alcohol is well known to effectively condition and soften the skin and hair, quite the opposite from an “alcohol” related to ethyl or rubbing alcohol, which will dry the skin. Works as an emollient, emulsifier and a thickener.
